About Jon Standing
Personal experience in contracting for over 30 years continues to lend itself to the training of a skilled crew, and his professionalism shines through in each project undertaken.
Jon Standing has spent two decades as a Head Coach of various ski teams, as the BC Coaching Coordinator, and as the National Master Learning Facilitator for Freestyle Ski Courses in Canada, performing coach training, Course Facilitator training, and editing and writing the manuals for these courses. Through this experience in training people who would then go on to train others, he brings an extra level of coaching ability to the direction and coordination of the Outstanding Services crew.
As a skiing coach, teacher and guide, his expeditions have brought him from Winnipeg to the Yukon, through various places in the Rockies, along the West Coast, and finally to North Bay. During the summers of these years, Jon worked for various master craftsmen to hone his skills at various trades. These experiences have helped him develop a strong understanding and appreciation for the affects of extreme climates on contracting and maintenance jobs.
